in a unique workshop in a unique setting       
            the Island of Hydra
 
Hydra is a small quiet island off the coast of Greece.  Live the life of an artist for two weeks without the distractions of modern living.  Vito is known for creating not only beautiful paintings but as a teacher that is excellent at conveying her knowledge of painting and problem solving.  She will jump start your painting to the next level.  Although Vito will be demonstrating in oils, do not feel that you have to know how to paint.  You can do a sketch journal incorporating whatever you want to include with pencils, watercolors, multi media and glue stick.  She will help you with that and also give advice on what equipment you will need to bring and how to make painting outdoors easier.  All levels are welcome, from novice to advanced plein air painter.  A licensed message therapist is traveling with us and Vito plans to offer a light yoga session in the mornings.  This is a holistic workshop including many good times sitting and painting, looking out onto the Aegean Sea, enjoying the town, the boats, good food and conversation and sharing the gift of art!!!
